LOYO – Simi Valley Campus

Welcome to LOYO Simi Valley, our satellite campus for young musicians in the Simi Valley and Chatsworth Areas.

Our satellite campuses give students the opportunity to begin high-level orchestral training, allowing them to prepare for our advanced ensembles at our main campus in an affordable and local setting,

Students perform in December in the LOYO Simi Winter Concert and alongside our large ensembles in our June Gala Concert at the grand stage of the Kavli Theatre, Bank of America Performing Arts Center, Thousand Oaks.

Attending performances given by world-renowned artists is a core part of LOYO curriculum, and an integral part of maintaining the inspiration young musicians need to thrive in their own studies.

Attending one California Young Artists Symphony Concert and one Dialogues Concert per year is required. Please make note of these dates in your calendar and select a concert to attend. LOYO members have special access to heavily discounted tickets.

LOYO Simi Campus live auditions are held at our main campus before a panel of our Directors. We recommend students interested in leadership positions to play an official live audition. Younger members may choose to play a less formal “sit-in” audition on the first day of rehearsal.

Live auditions are held the first two weekends of August.
